Sehr frühes Automatik-Feuerzeug, genannt
Imperator.
Die Druckknopfzündung lässt den Deckel aufschnellen und das Reibrad wird über eine gebogene Zahnstange angetrieben, erzeugt die Funken und setzt den Docht in Brand.
Das Feuerzeug hat eine Hülle aus massivem 800er Silber.
Diverse Stempel im Silber:
RK (Richard Kohn) - 800 - Halbmond&Krone (Deutschland) - HB (mir unbekannter Silberschmied). Die Stemple finden sich jeweils auf Deckel und Unterteil.

Das Feuerzeug ist voll funktionsfähig.
Very early lighter, The Imperator, Sterling Silver
One of the first lighters, made in Germany in the 1910s era
This is an example of the very first automatic lighter, invented in the 1910s. Famous, fail proof design. Has a strong spring and some gearing which will turn the fling wheel in a flash and produce a lot of spark. A lot of lighter with similar desing were made by this one (Thorens for instance). This lighter has a fien Sterling Silver jacket with a nice design. Perfect condition and full working order, after allmost 100 years. Has a re-filling screw with a loop to attach the precious lighter (must have cost a fortune at that time) to the fob watch chain.
